Tech tango is probably the best descriptor. The challenges of this particular dance were multifaceted considering the coordination of multiple elements, not only in pre-production but also execution.

From vetted research to script approval to intricate graphics, the elements were applied to a custom-built, rear-projection set in D.C.s biggest studio. An extremely tight schedule didn’t help either since we had only one setup day and one shoot day. Always fun.

The main crux was timing each take, heavily reliant on talent preparation. Lighting setups were crafted to maintain the integrity of our screens while also providing a stage-like aesthetic.

In the end, our excellent talent, cued assets, myriad dolly moves & critical AC work all found their groove.
