I’ve always heard Kirk Franklin was talented. I realized why once I met him.

Shot at Baltimore’s famed Lyric, this lean broadcast involved two crew members & our host. The rest was typical. Rush-hour battle into Baltimore, miraculous gear & van logistics, no elevator, unassing the carts for a weighted step workout, zero setup time, a mostly fluorescent lighting package with which to battle the sun, the cherished respite of actual roll time, all the while anticipating a follow-on stage performance that waits for no one.

Silver lining? A phenomenal show if you don’t mind running track while enjoying it.
